These chargers were the first available in the market to service ‘intelligent’ batteries and have been doing so world wide for many years. Together with a separate power supply (brick) and suitable line cord, these chargers operate reliably in any country, normally with full regulatory approvals (UL, CUL, TUV, CE, etc.). Most units have calibration means. This feature, originated by SPAN, restores full battery performance when battery electronics become unable to maintain accurate estimates of battery charge status.
